Thirty years ago, in the auspicious month of June 1994, we opened our original store in Tempe, AZ. We began of course with a focus on motorcycles. Harleys and Hondas have always been near and dear to our owner Jerry’s heart, and made up our rental business for quite a while. As early as high school, all of his friends called Jerry a “man of machines” because of his passion for vehicles of all types.
From the start with only 2 motorcycles, to the heyday with 45 units and several employees, Fun Time Rentals has always provided high touch personalized service. In the last 10 years, Jerry has been semi-retired, and now will rent to you directly in the Phoenix area.
Leading the Way
In early 2016, the Arizona State Legislature actually had Jerry onsite with a Slingshot and they all took a spin around town. Everyone was delighted to try out the "batmobile".
The Senate Transportation Committee unanimously confirmed HB2248, which had come over from the House with no opposition, which changed the operator’s license requirement from a motorcycle license only, to a regular Class D driver’s license so you can drive one too!
